Sodbusters Streak Ends

The Hastings Sodbusters saw a six game winning streak end in a 6-4 setback to Fremont. Hastings pitchers walked 13 batters and hit two more to open the door. The Sodbusters lost despite outhitting the Moo 8-4. After a tough start for Adam DeBoer, Creighton Jacobitz and Tyler Welsh combined for 6.2 innings of one-run ball. Ryan Jarvis led the offense with two hits and a run scored.  The same two teams meet Friday at 6:35 at Duncan field.
