St Paul Basketball Travels To Aurora

(Aurora, NE) - The St Paul basketball teams will be on the road tonight (Thursday, January 4th) traveling to Aurora to take on the Huskies. Tonight's games will air live on 96.5 FM & krgi.com. The St Paul girls come into the match-up tonight with a (3-7) record. The Wildcats went 1-1 in the O'Neill Holiday Tournament falling to Beatrice 61-18 on December 28th but bouncing back and defeating North Central 43-41 on December 29th. St Paul would play on January 2nd hosting Columbus Scotus but fell to the Shamrocks 41-21. The Aurora girls are entering this evening's contest with a (4-6) record. The Huskies are currently on a three-game winning streak. Aurora claimed the Ashland/Greenwood Holiday Tournament with wins over Ashland/Greenwood 39-33 in overtime on December 29th and then defeated Omaha Roncalli on December 30th 55-38. 

In the boy's matchup: St Paul comes into the game with a record of (4-6). The Cats went 1-1 in the O'Neill Holiday Tournament. Lost to Beatrice 66-39 in the opening round on December 28th. St Paul would bounce back with a win over North Central 52-28 on December 29th. St Paul also played a game after New Year's Day hosting Columbus Scotus but dropping the game to the Shamrocks 45-28. The Aurora boys are (5-4) so far on the season. The Huskies went 1-1 in their holiday tournament at Ashland/Greenwood. Aurora would drop an opening round game to the host Bluejays 44-27 on December 29th. Aurora would then bounce back and defeat Omaha Gross 55-39 on December 30th. 

Tonight's games on the KRGI Sports Network will see the girl's game starting with the Pump & Pantry Pregame Show at 5:45 pm with the boy's game to follow at 7:30 pm.
