Tabitha at Prairie Commons to Host Tours & Summer Kick Off
Tabitha at Prairie Commons, nonprofit Tabitha’s newest senior living community in Grand Island, is kicking off the summer season with tours and a charitable event.
Join us on Thursday, June 20 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. for Tabitha’s “Kick Off to Summer” event at 3490 Ewoldt St., Grand Island.
In addition to live music by local country and rock’n’roll artist Modern Kowboy, the public can enjoy fun for the whole family: line dancing lessons, a tractor show courtesy of Central Nebraska Antique Tractor & Equipment Club, ice cream from Anna Street Trolley, a BBQ free-will donation supper and tours throughout the state-of-the-art community.
All proceeds raised by the event will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association’s “Longest Day,” an annual giving event held on the summer solstice—the day with the longest amount of time between sunrise and sunset—to drive awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s disease research.
Prairie Commons provides a low-maintenance lifestyle with a plethora of community conveniences and apartment amenities. The spacious 200,000-square-foot complex offers varying levels of care, conveniently located in one location to meet older adults’ needs as they evolve, including independent living (55+), assisted living, memory care and long-term/skilled nursing.
Visitors are always welcome to stop in for a tour of the bright and airy community, to grab daily brunch or a bite to eat from The Beet Bistro, or to meet with friends, family or colleagues that call Prairie Commons home.
